Welcome to Gadville German Shepherds!
My name is Connie Hall.
I have a very specific reason to breed German Shepherds. I want a dog
that loves people, that is curious, a companion and playful. I
want a loyal pet, one who will protect, one that is observant.
I have seen all these qualities in my dogs. With this in mind I
decided that other people could also enjoy the same qualities in a
German Shepherd of their own through my dog's puppies.
My German Shepherds'
intelligence has amazed me. Rhubye can bounce their own
ball off the house and play catch. Michaela catches mice. They all
are curious and always follow me around, they are my companions when
I do laundry, cook and garden. I never feel alone. They understand
the difference of quiet time during a good movie and the playtime
with the children. They watch and then adapt the activity to
include them. Training has been reflected in their intelligence,
they find their own spot. Groceries are put in the back of the
station wagon means they move forward. As puppies, basic obedience
sets the ground work. From there they learn left side walking, wait,
stay, and come. Our communication expands from there. They know
where they should be and I don't fall over them. A dog can learn
200 words, with constant repetition. They know when we go, when we
play, when to chill. "Good morning!" we eat, "Bedtime," we sleep.

German Shepherds were bred to serve, mine serve as devoted people
pets, a wonderful quality of the German Shepherd. I'm alerted to
strangers: a clear alert stance; I'm alerted to friends and family
by their wagging tails. They get worried if the bath tub is too
full, but they pounce when the swimming pool is brought out. The
balls on the Christmas tree are to be looked at, but the rubber dog
balls are to chase and catch. They dig right into their dog food
bowl, but they sit and wait politely for leftovers. I have chosen
blood lines that have proven their intelligence, love, devotion and health.
I have chosen the dog for my pet... a strong people loving playful companion... Connie
